Camera of Possibilities: A Workbook for a Carrier Bag Theory of Photography
Inspired by science fiction writer, Ursula K. Le Guin’s influential text “Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction,” Mira and beck propose a playful photography practice that humbles narratives of mastery often purported by photography. Using one sheet of paper to create six different “paper cameras,” the reader is invited to use this workbook to study their personal photographic practice and reflect on the communities that make their photographs possible.
