Objects from Home is a playful, hands-on photo and book-making workshop where all can explore the idea of home through the objects they treasure. Each participant is invited to bring in a special object that reminds them of home—anything from a toy to a kitchen tool to a family keepsake.
We’ll photograph each object and print the image on-site, then we will cut, paste, draw, and collage it into creating our own handmade book.
This workshop encourages storytelling, creativity, and connection to memory and place.

This workshop is an interactive extension of Lauren’s ongoing project, Objects From Home, in which she goes into the living spaces of people who identify with the Lebanese diaspora and photograph the objects they surround themselves with that remind them of Home. The project will eventually live as a publicly accessible inventory. If you're interested in participating by sharing your objects, please email daccache.studio@gmail.com.
