Jan 25 • Roots and Tubers: Plants Underground with Zane Elias
Join Zane on another food-filled, craft-forward ecological exploration as we look into the world below our feet, starting with roots. Together, we will consider how roots work and use them firsthand to eat, drink, and make crafts! This is a family-friendly workshop and is highly recommended for kids 4 and up. Bring some clothes that can get a little messy!
Zane Elias is a Palestinian-American environmental educator and gardener. He completed a fellowship at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens Children's Garden and currently works alongside the waterfront alliance as their environmental educator.
Ideal for ages 4 and up!
