JUNE 6 • WORKSHOP : Syrian block printing with Roya Haroun

This workshop is inspired by Syria’s rich tradition of fabric block printing. Fabrics from Roya’s family collection will be used for learning and inspiration. Participants will learn how to carve a block and print on fabric, please bring an item you would like to print on! Blank canvas fabric will be provided in case you don’t have an existing item you would like to embellish.

Roya Haroun is a Syrian-American printmaker and multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY.
