Join us as we come together for the release of The Countermonuments, a chapbook by Rasha Abdulhadi featuring eight new poems. The book was designed and printed by Rhonda Khalifeh and Jenna Hamed for the 2024 Center for Book Arts Chapbook contest, where Rasha served as judge. In response to The Countermonuments and its contemporary resonance, Rhonda and Jenna have curated a lineup of four artists who will each engage the poetics of an artist's book through performance readings.

In addition to a reading by Rasha, the lineup includes artists Aminah Al Huqail, Golnar Adili, Rhea Karam, and Tash Nikol.

Kindly RSVP with a voucher of $5, which may be redeemable on the night of the event on the book or any other book.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
