Noch ein Kind — Still a Kid delves deep into the intimate dynamics of a Turkish-German families history across three generations, from their emigration to Germany to the struggles with patriarchal violence and inherited trauma. At the center is Abdulhamid Kircher, a photographer born to a German mother and Turkish father, who reconciles with his once-estranged father through his photography. Spanning over two and a half years and set between Berlin and rural Antalya, the film delves into complex family dynamics and the healing process across generations.
